To have my feelings acknowledged... that, more than anything else, is what I wanted. Of course I want my feelings to be returned. Of course I want there to be no obstacles between us. Of course it hurts, knowing we cannot be together the way I wish for. But you have already given me the most important thing, the thing I needed the most--your trust, and your honesty, and your willingness to accept my feelings.
