Hello. You have reached the mailbox of Yusuke Kitagawa. I am currently busy and cannot answer the phone. Please leave a message.

So! Have a distressingly similar face to your own staring at you.]
Hello, Kitagawa-san. I am Jun Kurosu.
...Am I right in assuming you are a Persona user? One of them from the future?
no subject
and he knows yusuke has a persona. he knows yusuke has a persona, meaning he must have one of his own. he knows he's from the past. just how long have people like them existed? how long have personas been summoned for? questions swirl around in yusuke's head before he remembers he should answer him.
yusuke turns on the camera, reflecting his own face back at jun's.]
Hello, Kurosu. May I ask how you came to that conclusion?
no subject
Your experience with a being manipulating cognition, as well as the fact that I can sense the numerous other Persona users on this station. Toudou-san mentioned that most of you are from later than him and myself. My most recent year was 1999.
no subject
You can sense other Persona users? How?
[he'll address the time discrepancy in a minute, but that part needs to be addressed]
no subject
[How can you guys not? He is so confused, honestly.]
Toudou-san can as well, as can everyone else in my group. We've always been able to, ever since we could summon them ourselves.
We can feel their energy, their aura... Can tell how they're feeling, as well.

Just checking in to see how you're doing. I didn't see much of anyone toward the end there, so I lost track of you.
I'm sorry.
no subject
I'm fine now, thank you. We were all not quite ourselves for a few days.
[another reply comes, but only after the '@fox is typing...' message appears for another whole minute]
Are you feeling alright?
no subject
Other than the persisting sense of unreality that I've actually gotten to sleep more than a few minutes at a time?
[ @joker is typing... stays on the screen, disappears, then reappears. ]
Unsure. Still trying to get back to normal.

I find myself in need of relaxation. Do you have any in supply?

Communication had been sparse, but ultimately it's this discovery that pushes Ren to reconnect the loose ends to he'd left dangling last time he turned up on Yusuke's doorstep like this. Unannounced, conflicted but willing to eat some crow or else he wouldn't be here knocking on Yusuke's door, smiling sheepishly when it opens. ]
Hi. Can we talk?
no subject
--Ren. Of course, please come in.
[he'll open the door to let ren enter, and he can see yusuke's sketchbook open on the table if he wishes to peruse]
no subject
[ True, Ren could've checked in over the comms - distance through text, like the true Gen Xers they are. He's done as much in their world, but the goings-on there didn't give him time to stop or falter, and he always seemed to have the right answers for what was going on.
He comes in, dithers by circling the table and peering at the sketches, but he's not really looking at them unless something familiar crops up. His focus is elsewhere. ]
I didn't see you the last couple weeks. I was wondering... [ was it his fault? How things ended last time left a bad taste in his mouth, and then the sickness set in, and. ] how you were.

yusuke brings a hand to rub at his forehead, the space between his eyes]
I'm alright, though I am currently battling some art block. I'm having difficulty staying inspired for more than short periods of time.

Do you think you would be available to help with some of the more artistic side of things? Like sets and the like? I offered to help too of course.
no subject
I should also probably meet them.
