[fox had plans for his afternoon and they have all gone out the window because he is going to sit here and pet mars until he falls asleep.

in any other context fox watching mars sleep would be a little creepy, but he's honestly just so delighted mars is relying on him like this.

[SORRY TO RUIN YOUR AFTERNOON PLANS FOX!!!]

[but this kitty definitely needs a nap. not that he realized this until flopping on Fox's lap but]

[MARS IS NOW LIQUID]

[fox may also nod off a bit but he's not going to move if he can help it. pleased pleased pleased ♥]

[he sure hopes no Taishos walk in on them hogging the couch like this]

[if they do fox will shush them away. it's also not going to be the worst thing fellow taishos have walked in on him for]

[MARS WILL BE EMBARRASSED!!]

[at any rate, he sleeps for a little over an hour, and when he eventually starts to come to he stirs in Fox's lap, making a few low purring sounds as he does so]

[mars will wake to most of fox's tails curled around his head and shoulders almost protectively, his hand lightly tangled in mars's hair but slack as fox himself has nodded off, head bowed]

[it takes him a moment to fully come to, to push himself up (careful not to disturb the tails too much), allowing Fox's hand to drift from his hair]

Mmmm. . . [stifles a yawn]
