I cannot tell you of connections between what has happened in my world and what has happened in yours... if there truly are any.

I think it's very possible, considering that Philemon admitted to the fact that everything that we went through was basically a social experiment to see if humans were 'worth' getting to continue to exist, despite some apparent wish they had for destruction.
